Kahjeh roh Djeneh

Kahjeh is a Guardian from nar Anjahr, a pivitol character in Degrees of Freedom. He is a son of the powerful roh Djeneh family, trained in Observation Sciences at the Diplomatic Academy in Rocon, Moornal, following in the footsteps of his brother, Jovijh roh Djeneh.

Comes from a well-to-do, politically powerful family on nar Anjahr. Prior to entering the Academy, Kahjeh’s older brother Jovijh convinced him to join the Guardians explaining that The Convergence was in danger of being damaged by the actions of the Mutualists in bringing Earth people to Torzucán. Jovijh was purportedly killed when he and his team, consisting of Mojhdleh roh Sejh and Ren nar Qadj, were involved in a police action. Mojh was accused of not covering Jovijh, which led to his death. Mojh’s creche-mate, mother of his children, chose to kill herself and their children because of the shame that followed Mojh’s trial. Though he was acquitted of wrongdoing, the roh Djeneh family did whatever they could to ruin Mojh’s family. This will weigh heavily on Kahjeh when he learns the truth.

Kahjeh has been assigned to Torzucán by the Authority to observe and report, a position which may have been engineered by Guardian sympathizers.

In Degrees of Freedom He develops a bond with Molly through connecting to her in dream state. These are not ordinary dreams, but are similar to lucid dreaming. The bond is deep enough that he is able to “show” Molly his home planet.

Brother Althus

Under his Temple name, Brother Althus, Kahjeh has become a major strategic advisor to Jolene Cheng.
