Tamarack Valley is in the foothills of the Ochocos. Formed by Tamarack Creek, and sheltered by the surrounding hills, the valley’s micro-climate is exceedingly warm by Central Oregon standards, allowing farmers to grow crops not usually seen in this part of the country.
